Many schools in Argyll & Bute are registered as Eco-Schools.  This scheme encourages the next generation to think about the environmental impact of their school. Pupils and staff are encouraged to plan and undertake a range of projects covering litter, recycling, energy, healthy eating, school grounds and transport. The result of the projects should be a healthier and more sustainable school environment. Inveraray Primary and Oban High School have both been awarded an Eco Schools Green Flag and many other schools are working towards this challenging target.

For more information regarding Eco-Schools contact the GRAB office or go to the Eco Schools website: www.eco-schools.org.uk
